introduction
Sami Yehia is a senior research engineer at Thales Research and Technology (TRT), Embedded Systems Labs. He is member of the HiPEAC network and member of its industrial advisory board. He is also an ACM member.
Sami obtained his PhD from Paris XI University in 2004, and worked at ARM ltd. (Cambridge) before he join Thales.
Research Interests

Computer achitectures, compilers and embedded systems, more specifically:
- Architecture Specialization and Instruction set customization, especially transparent customization.
- Multicore architectures and heterogeneous parallel systems.
- Parallel programming models.
- SIMD architectures.
